Last updated: 15 September 2026. We built Font Maker - Create TTF, OTF so you can design typefaces without giving up your privacy.
1. Information we do not collect
Font Maker - Create TTF, OTF works on your device. Your drawings, glyph outlines, imported images, SVG artwork, project files and exported font files never leave your device unless you choose to share or export them yourself. We do not have access to the content you create.
2. Information processed on your device
The app processes the following data locally:
- Your hand-drawn glyph strokes and contour edits
- Imported images, scans or SVG files used for tracing
- Font project settings such as family name, weight, spacing and licence information
- Generated font files (TTF, OTF) before you export or share them
All processing happens in the app on your Android device. We do not receive, store or back up these files.
3. Optional Pro upgrade
If you purchase the Pro upgrade, the transaction is handled entirely by Google Play. We do not collect or store your payment information. Google may share limited purchase confirmation data with us according to their own privacy practices.
4. Files and sharing
When you export or share a font, image or project file, you choose the destination app or service. We cannot control how those third-party services handle your files, so please review the privacy policies of any app or cloud storage provider you share to.
5. Analytics and crash reporting
The app may collect anonymous crash reports and basic diagnostic information to help us fix bugs and improve performance. This information does not include your font designs, personal files or identifying details.
6. Children's privacy
Font Maker - Create TTF, OTF is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the revised policy.
